Thie feeder is made of a sturdy high quality acrylic lic substance. The perch is thick . It is easy to clean and maintain the only drawback is the little bent nail type hangers. We have worked out h to apply to the inside of the cage. The real difficulty is when taking out to clean or when replenishing the food. It needs some other opt to hang in cage Overall it is a great well-made product but suitable for all cages.
