How does this put onto the dog? What are the straps for? I don't have instructions.

Simply put the collar on over the head and secure straps and velcro for a secure fit.

Does this collar work for wounds on the back hip. My dog has a long snout?

How do you measure for collar

To get the most accurate size collar for your furry best friend, measure the center of their neck a with a cloth tape measure, a few inches down from their head. Pull the tape snug, but not tight. If you don't have a tape measure, you can also use a piece of string and measure it with a rigid ruler afterwards. Make sure there’s enough room for about two fingers between the collar and your pup’s neck.

The material is made of polyester, cotton, and vinyl. It will deflate all the way.

Super hard to blow up!

Not working great for us after my pups sort. It was very difficult to blow up and she can put her paw under the collar and get out of it. Maybe a little too big,

The collar is comfortable but prevents scratching

My only concern is the difficulty blowing the collar up. With old, arthritic hands squeezing the valve just right was almost impossible!

Not like the photo

the photo on the box has a strap with a buckle on it. I ordered 3 of these collars for my little girls who had surgery. When they came home from the vet, I opened

the photo on the box has a strap with a buckle on it. I ordered 3 of these collars for my little girls who had surgery. When they came home from the vet, I opened the boxes and none of the 3 boxes had a strap in, (as pictured when I ordered them). As a result, the puppies are able to take their back legs and flip the collars over their heads and get at their incision. I tried to snug the collars tighter but it was like choking them. I would NOT recommend these collars as they do NOT have the strap with the buckle as shown and they are easily removed
