Could so easily have been a 4 star

These side reins are soft and flexible. The donuts give enough so that the horse can stretch into the bit without feeling restrained. I’m really not convinced these

These side reins are soft and flexible. The donuts give enough so that the horse can stretch into the bit without feeling restrained. I’m really not convinced these are real leather as they wrinkle a bit when bending them, and they don’t look like real leather. Therefore, I don’t know how long they will last. I would have given 4 stars anyway as they are soft, flexible and stretchy except for the one Big Fail = the clips. They are so awkward to use and VERY difficult to open as the springs are so strong. Simple snap clips would have allowed me to give a 4 rating.
