Canada Pooch Dog Snowsuit, Black, 14

The snow suit is great quality and keeps my dog so warm. She actually gets hot in this. So it would be perfect for sub freezing weather and snow. I have a French bulldog with a wide chest and even though her chest is measured at 25" this jacket (size 16)is too snug on her although according to size chart it is for chest size up to 27". She doesn't seem comfortable walking in it as it limits her range of motion. The next size up would be too long for her torso so I have to keep this one. So 1 star less for inaccurate size description. I received this a few days before our first snow and it was a very timely purchase. I tried putting her suspender boots also from Canada pooch under this suit but it was hard to get this on her. Wearing the boots outside of the suit works much better.

My boy is just under 60 lbs, and is 23" long. I've tried both the 24, which was a great length, but gapped so much at the belly, that he peed all up into the coat, and size 22, which was a little gappy at the belly, but a little tight in the legs (the underarms, to be precise), and slightly short in length. I don't know how this coat could work for most male dogs, but it just didn't work for us, as-is. I altered the size 24 to make is work, which is fine, but I just wish there was a size that truly worked for him, because I wanted to buy the slush suit, as well. That said, the coat is SO well made and so thoughtful! I appreciated that the zipper has flaps at both ends, so there will be no pinching, and an overlap throughout, so that the zipper will never catch the dog's hair. The fabric seems super-strong, as we have had some incidents with shrubs and branches, and we have had no tearing. One last thing -- Chewy customer service, as always, was amazing! They really tried to make this work for us! Hats off to you!!

I bought this for my puppy because it's been snowing for a month straight in Ohio and she came back covered in ice balls after every walk. It took a few tries to figure out the best way to get it on her, but now it's a breeze and she goes right toward it when we're getting ready to go out. Highly recommend!
