We adopted a dachshund/coon hound mix and bought these boots for when we get lots of snow over the winter. We wanted something to keep his feet warm and dry, keep the salt off his paws during walks, and give him security in slippery conditions. I had never bought dog boots and was skeptical these would stay on...but they do! The velcro placement is perfect and the toggle at the top adds extra security. Our little guy did a bit of high-stepping at first because they felt strange, but soon he was trotting down the street like a champ. Highly recommend. For reference, we bought him the size 2 and they were just a bit snug. The size 3's were perfect. He's longer legged/a bit more built like a Beagle than a dachshund, and around 25 lbs.

The product seems like good quality but if your dog hates having their feet touched it may not be worth the hassle

Every pair of boots I buy for my Boston Terrier mix always fall off of her little legs/feet. But these...these boots stay put! They go up high enough that the velcro strap doesn't make her dew paws rub and irritate her leg. And the double security features (velcro straps in the middle and pull strings at the top) keep them secure even when running through the snow. I highly recommend these boots for dogs who have very narrow legs and paws.

The material is good and helped to protect the paws from the cold and salt. And, my dog did not seem to mind walking in them as they are somewhat flexible.

You do have to tighten them well, but they stay securely on my dog’s paws. They’re great for snow and keep his paws from getting wet. They do get a bit cold, but not frozen. I will buy another one of these

Quality craftsmanship and great for keeping my pup from licking her paws
I haven't quite tested them outside yet, but I did use one to keep my dog from licking hotspot medicine off of her paw and it stayed on well despite her protests

It wasn't too difficult to put on either. However, I have a 60lb gsd and got the largest size offered (5in) and I feel like it's a bit of a close fit on the paws. If you have a larger dog, you should definitely take the time to measure before you buy/pick a size. Also, while I haven't used them outside yet, the material and craftsmanship of the boots do seem to be very good quality and the texture on the bottom helps provide stability/traction.

Three of the boots were pretty much the same width and a little pointy in the toes but one was very rounded and obviously wider. I was willing to try a size 2 but they are out of stock right now. I am returning the size 1.
Great boots
These are great boots! It took my Iggy a few minutes to get used to them but we walked 2 miles very comfortably in these. They Velcro and have a drawstring for tightening

I’ve tried a couple of different boots and ended up returning them. These ones provide good protection but my dog can still feel the ground and was able to walk
