Need jacket that. allows my dog to urinate (male) without peeing in the jacket. He weighs 5 lbs.,he is a chihuahua.

This parka features fleece lining & heavy weight thick insulation for total warmth.

Where is ther size chart? Also what type of closure is it? Is the hood removable?

The sizing chart may be located by clicking the “Size” tab, on the product page. To select the best size we recommend that you measure your dog's length and chest girth (circumference). To measure the length you'll measure starting at the base of the neck and end at the base of the tail. To measure the chest girth you'll measure around the broadest part of the rib-cage behind the front legs. If the dog happens to be in between sizes, it's then recommended to select the bigger size. It has a dual velcro closure. The hood is not removable.

Does this parka have sleeves? The red appears to have sleeves while the yellow and silver appear to be sleeveless.

Warm, Well-made coat!

I love this coat! I measured my 85-pound German Shorthair Pointer and determined that he would wear a size 22, but ordered a 24 based on the reviews that it ran

I love this coat! I measured my 85-pound German Shorthair Pointer and determined that he would wear a size 22, but ordered a 24 based on the reviews that it ran small. Unfortunately, the 24 was still too small -- primarily in the arm holes as others had mentioned (it just wouldn't velcro shut around his big, barrel chest. So, I re-ordered a 26 and it fits perfectly. We just got back from a walk in 35 degree drizzling weather, and my dog didn't complain a bit. He's usually a sissy in the cold, but we walked over a mile. It's very well made, warm, and fits perfectly. We get compliments every time he wears it. I totally recommend this coat -- just remember to SIZE UP!

Tough sizing

I have an American bully with a large chest, but she’s pretty compact. The size I got fits her chest (maybe could do a size down? But would be maybe a bit snug?)

I have an American bully with a large chest, but she’s pretty compact. The size I got fits her chest (maybe could do a size down? But would be maybe a bit snug?) however that makes it gap at the tuck in her waist and is very, very long on her. Basing it on her length would have been much too small in the chest, so definitely look at the measurements beyond the length for sizing as well. Other than that, it’s a great jacket! I debated exchanging it for a size smaller, but I already removed the tags and let her romp in the first snow of the season this morning because she was so excited I didn’t want to wait :)

Velcro fell off.

Washed in gentle cycle. Air dried and the Velcro just peeled off. Not happy considering the price. Will be calling chewy.
