Instructions
Fasten closure. Spot clean dirt or machine washable once WEIGHTED CALM™ insert is removed. Machine wash inside out on gentle cycle, cold water. Hang to dry. Do not iron.

Well-made, quality vest
This vest was so thoughtfully designed, you can just tell that they put a lot of consideration into what an anxious dog and their owner may need. The weight is secured
This vest was so thoughtfully designed, you can just tell that they put a lot of consideration into what an anxious dog and their owner may need. The weight is secured inside the collar by zipper which ensures that the weight is always evenly distributed. The collar itself can be closed with a zipper and then attached to the center point with a snap button so that it never shifts out of place. The Velcro that goes under the belly is large and made in such a way where you don’t have to be perfectly aligned with you wrap the Velcro around them. All in all, I’m super happy with this product and will look to Canada Pooch for more products we may need in the future.

Best Calming Vest
When regular thunder coats did not help with her thunderstorm phobia, I tried the weighted Canada Pooch. It helps better than medication. She is not completely calm

She is not completely calm during thunderstorms now but at least she is not frozen and shaking uncontrollably as she was before. If she can also be near me with her vest on, she is able to relax until the storm has passed. This has been a great find for both of us.

Ok, I was skeptical but now I am totally thankful and delighted for this well made, well designed, fully functional weighted vest. Material is by far the BEST of any I tried (but failed) on my dog. Most were a thin jersey that didn't give enough of a hug. It's easy to Velcro in place and IT STAYS! My Shih Tzu quickly stops panting, shaking and following between my legs. He falls asleep. I love, love, love this purchase and HIGHLY recommend everyone to try it on your pooch or mouser.
Comfortable and it works
My dog is very skittish around thunder and big noises. The Weighted vest is comfortable for her, and it really calms her. She sits quietly while I put it on.

Canada Pooch Calming Vest
The jackets have helped a lot during the frequent storms. It has helped reduced there shaking and trying to climb up on me. I would recommend the vest. My dogs

vest doesn't stay in place
The vest keeps slipping around my dog, so it ends up on the side of my dog instead of lined up in place across his back and neck. This could easily be fixed if

This could easily be fixed if this vest cam with 2 elastic straps that I could put my dog's hind legs through. The vest is well made and a good idea, but it has this one fatal flaw. It doesn't stay put!

Canada Pooch had the only solution I was looking for. When my pup ware it I could tell he felt the pressure of the weighted collar because he'd rub on chairs and such to try to remove it. Several minutes later he was use to it and trotted around normally. I left it on him for a few hours then removed it. On our next trip out we put the weighted jacket on him and he noticeably acted calmer!!! On our return there was no high pitched screaming from him. He just sat quietly until we opened the door and then he 's jumped around (he's not trained to stay down :)) This weighted jacket does the job!! We love it. Thank you Canada Pooch for understanding high anxiety and creating a great ware-able little top/jacket with the correct amount of weights added for the weight of the dog.
