I have a 2 1/2 year old sheltie that has more urinary tract infections that I couldn't count. In fact she is on amocillin Trihydrate & Clavulanate Pottassiom Tablets now. She also takes Crananidin every day and I started using distilled water for her. Is it appropriate for a two year old?

This is the first time I have tried this dried food, and so far, my guy is pooping regularly and no loose stools, gas or excessive itching. He doesn't like it as much as his canned food, but he eats it when I put some of his snacks in it. Actually, he doesn't like any kind of dried food very much, so I just buy what I can see is best for him when it comes to stools and any stomach issues. I'm just surprised that the first ingredient is ground brown rice instead of chicken. Anyway, this limited ingredient special needs food is working out well so far. Whatever they leave out or put in the food is working.

Great food for pancreatitis

My two have issues with pancreatitis and this food is the only one they can eat. They are 12 and 13 and incredibly healthy. Feed your pups good food-this is it!

I rescued a Beagle Basset stray from Texas 3 months ago. She has been unable to eat any kind of kibble until I found Special Needs Canine Caviar. I have my older dogs on this food too and they are both having zero stomach issues. No gas or ingestion. One of the older dogs (Beagle Heeler) tried the lamb millet formula but the millet did not agree with him, similar to the Beagle Basset, the millet was a big no. The senior Blue Heeler loves the Chicken Special Needs and is looking fit and trim. I have a 3 yr old Red Heeler on the Lamb and Millet and he is thriving on it. All of the dogs are happy and content with Canine Caviar- I cannot recommend this food enough. The price is great-I don't have to be a personal chef to the Beagle Basset and the other dogs are so healthy I know I'm preventing future illness by feeding such a high quality low alkaline food.

Purchased this because my little guy has a lot of food sensitivities. The pieces are big for a 6lb dog so that makes it harder for him to eat. He doesn’t seem to eat it in its own. I need to add something he likes and try to mix it. Had to buy an 11lb bag as that was the smallest. If it doesn’t improve will have a lot of food to donate. Wish they had the 4lb bag to try when I ordered.
