Can this be dried in the dryer after washing or does it have to be air dried?

I have not had good luck using a dryer. The pillow top filling is this green polyester fiber. Chunks of it. The problem is that the fabric used to hold it in place is very thin. If a hole gets in it the whole pillow top explodes in the dryer! What a mess. I just tried washing a 2nd one and decided I’d cut off the fabric and take out the stuffing and put it back after drying. Nor recommended! See photos. I couldn’t get the stuffing evenly situated again. My dogs love this bed! So I guess I’ll air dry from now on. The one on the left is how it’s supposed to look. The one on the right is where I removed the stuffing and tried putting it back.

The cover is machine washable. The insert is not machine washable and is spot clean only.

Horrible bed!

I’m so disappointing of this bed! I bought this bed for my senior dog with arthritis so he could be more comfortable. Within the first months the bed went flat in

I’m so disappointing of this bed! I bought this bed for my senior dog with arthritis so he could be more comfortable. Within the first months the bed went flat in the middle, is not memory foam or orthopedic at all. Also not washable, you can remove the bottom but not the top; if I put it I. The washer all the pieces of foam in the top will spill all over. Very disappointing of the quality and the description given.

Love this dog bed, geriatric dog

We keep buying this because our dog loves it so much. She is 100lbs and the center eventually wears down so we get a new one every so often to help the old dog out

After one scratch the material tore and green stuffing was exposed. The top layer of material on this bed is very very thin. I am so disappointed as it's a very expensive bed.

Both my digs love this bed. It is fluffy and soft. My only reason for four stars is the bottom layer of stuffing. I was expecting an orthopedic foam material since it was advertised as an ortho bed, but it is more like layers of padding. It’s still a nice bed, though.

The “orthopedic” base on the bed is SO thin it gives no quality support. This bed should not be considered orthopedic at all. Very deceptive picture and description

Thankfully Chewy refunded my money, but now I am stuck trying to find a better bed, and get it shipped. Very frustrating. I do NOT recommend buying this bed.

NOT actually very washable

Bed is has 3 parts. 2 white cores, the dog bed cover, and the green pillow top fluff, which lives inside of the cover (see photo). I'm disappointed that this item

Bed is has 3 parts. 2 white cores, the dog bed cover, and the green pillow top fluff, which lives inside of the cover (see photo). I'm disappointed that this item is listed as washable. When you unzip it, you can remove the 2 core pads (white rectangles in photo). However, the actual pillow top part of the dog bed is made up of loose green fluff and the zipper opening to access this fluff is about 6 inches wide, which means you can't remove it to wash if you wanted to. So if you want to wash this dog bed cover, you have to wash the bed's cover with all the loose pillow topper fluff in it. The fluff doesn't dry super well being lodged inside of the mattress cover and it becomes matted quickly. My dog LOVES this bed. I'll be curious to see if he still loves it after a couple of washes because the green stuff will continue to clump.
