What is the reasoning for this product being specifically and only banned in KY?

At this time, the State of Kentucky does not allow Canisource to sell their products as their packaging states that their foods are made with ingredients approved for human consumption.

Is this hard food or semi soft?

This food has a crunchy kibble. You can also make a moist and tender meal by rehydrating the kibbles with hot or lukewarm water for 15 minutes before mealtime. You can even add a spoonful of yogurt, kefir or home made fruit puree for even more flavours!

Does this dog food contain fish oil or should I use a supplement?

This is one of the foods that made "The List for 2024" so I thought I would give it a try. The reviews complained about the packaging. The box I received was well

This is one of the foods that made "The List for 2024" so I thought I would give it a try. The reviews complained about the packaging. The box I received was well packaged in a substantial plastic zip top bag that I reclose after each serving. My dog likes the food and it honestly smells like Thanksgiving stuffing.

Kind of expensive but I think it's worth it

I use it to extend the rehydrated food that I give my guy. The ingredients list looks really good, each chunk is organically shaped unlike most greasy, dry kibble

I use it to extend the rehydrated food that I give my guy. The ingredients list looks really good, each chunk is organically shaped unlike most greasy, dry kibble. My dog loves it and does well on it. The packaging IS strangely flimsy as noted in previous reviews, I purchased the 22 lb bag and immediately transferred the contents into many small airtight containers. I will continue to purchase it but in the smaller box. I'm wondering if the bugs mentioned in other reviews are because of the packaging or because of a lack of chemicals.

Bugs!

I guess I should have believed the reviews I saw where there were bugs in the food. As soon as I opened the box, there were dead winged insects inside and all over

I guess I should have believed the reviews I saw where there were bugs in the food. As soon as I opened the box, there were dead winged insects inside and all over the bag of food. So disgusting! I didn’t open the bag, but you can see webs inside. This company seriously needs to change their packaging, the bag is flimsy clear plastic and pretty much just twist tied closed. Not sealed at all to keep bugs from getting into it.

There were tons of bugs

It was extremely disgusting. There were tons of bugs crawling. My dog had 3 bites. She had diarrhea and vomit. Such a terrible experience

Not for us

First the way the food was packaged was not great . It was poured in a big clear bag and closed with a twisty tie to me that doesn’t scream keeping food fresh

First the way the food was packaged was not great . It was poured in a big clear bag and closed with a twisty tie to me that doesn’t scream keeping food fresh . I transition over a week , both my dogs ate it fine but it gave both of them terrible gas and diarrhea :(
