Easy to put on, access to Easy Walk harness

I used to put a sweater on my dog when the weather dipped below 32 outside, but he didn’t like having to put his legs through the arm holes to go outside. He literally

I used to put a sweater on my dog when the weather dipped below 32 outside, but he didn’t like having to put his legs through the arm holes to go outside. He literally started stiff arming! This coat woks well because you just put it on his back and close with Velcro. It also has easy access to his chest to clip into his Easy Walk harness, which was key because I can’t walk my 76 pound Golden Doodle without it!

Very short

This fits my Aussie around the neck and around the chest but the length is way too short. It actually fits the English bulldog better. Size was medium. Quality

In typical Carhartt fashion, this coat is well made and durable. It has two Velcro straps which attach at the neck and under the belly so it's easy to put on and

In typical Carhartt fashion, this coat is well made and durable. It has two Velcro straps which attach at the neck and under the belly so it's easy to put on and take off. The sizing guide is spot on, I ordered an XL for my 60 lb Belgian Malinois and it fits her length and girth perfectly.

Daisy is a European Doberman Pinscher. She’s a chesty gal. We’ve never found clothing that fits her well until now. This coat is a fantastic fit. It looks great, fits great, and she seems much warmer on her morning walk during our Minnesota November weather. She also has not tried to take it off - a first in her nearly four years of life. That really speaks to its comfort. I would strongly recommend this coat. We will likely purchase another if more colors become available.

Outstanding customer service

My husband has been bugging me to get our dog a Carhart “work” jacket. I measured her as directed, but still managed to order too big. I called to see what to do

My husband has been bugging me to get our dog a Carhart “work” jacket. I measured her as directed, but still managed to order too big. I called to see what to do to return the XL and then order a Large. The young lady issued a refund promptly, then helped place a new order for the correct size. She then said, “and the XL does not need to be returned. Please take it to a local shelter and donate it. “ I was so impressed with Chewy’s generosity. I did, in fact, take it to our local SPCA. They were very happy to receive the coat. They told me they get big dogs and never have large enough coats for them. Really did my heart good to know there are companies like Chewy.

I have a 52 lb Dutch shepherd who is long but skinny, I originally had gotten an XL but it was too big, large fits him perfect!

I like the coat but I should have sent it back. It fits her neck and chest (Newfie mix) but even tho I measured, it is not long enough to cover her back. Would be
