I think there's a design flaw

I have a very fluffy 12 lb pomeranian. I first got the size XS car harness according to the size chart. It technically fit on her around her torso and neck (*only*

I have a very fluffy 12 lb pomeranian. I first got the size XS car harness according to the size chart. It technically fit on her around her torso and neck (*only* 2 fingers gap) but was really...short, maybe? The neck loop wasn't around the base of her neck like in the product picture. It was up around the middle of her neck, like a collar. The torso strap was really far forward in her underarms. So the triangle pad part wasn't on her chest, but on her lower neck instead. I thought it was obvious that I needed to size up, so I exchanged. The size S was less tight around the neck, and a little looser around the torso as well. The triangle pad hung down a little lower on front of the neck while my dog was just standing there in it. However, when I pull back on the leash connection a little, the neck loop is clearly around the middle of the neck again, with the triangle pad coming up to the neck. I can't see any way that my dog won't get a broken neck if we are in a car accident, with either size harness.

great harness, but very hard to open

I would have loved this harness if it were not for arthritic fingers. I am unable to open the clips, they are so hard.

The picture in the online catalog is very deceiving it doesn’t show the 3 inch strap that the hook is attached to this cannot be used as a all day harness you need
