How heavy of a memorial stone can this easel support. Does it RUST?

This easel will hold any garden stone that is 10 inches in diameter comfortably. It will not rust, but anything that is exposed to the weather for long periods of time can be expected to experience some type of weathering or deterioration.

It is sturdy, doesn’t take up too much space, and it does not obstruct the words on the stone. I would recommend.
