I see there is no added salt. Where does the salt content come from? And why have you added peppercorns to this? Dogs do not need pepper in their diet. Please explain. Thank you.

The only salt included with this broth is the salt that is naturally a part of the ingredients. Although it isn't necessarily required in a diet, there is some evidence that suggests that black peppercorn when used in small amounts can have beneficial effects in pets, just like it could help humans. Since it is the third least included ingredient in this broth, the amount used is minuscule.
How long do you have to use this once it is open?

Once the Bone Broth has been opened the shelf life will be 7 days (in the fridge).
Is this made from 100% grass fed beef or are they grass fed and then grain finished?
