The water fountain is fine but the automatic feeder I would actually rate 1 star for the fact I had not instructions to set it up so it was of no use for me and

The water fountain is fine but the automatic feeder I would actually rate 1 star for the fact I had not instructions to set it up so it was of no use for me and a waste of my money when I could have just bought a water fountain. Even Casefy was of no help. So I was not happy when I could not use the automatic feeder and had to pay someone to come in to make sure my cats had food.

I was surprised that as soon as the fountain was assembled my cat took to exploring it and drinking from. She is normally skittish of new things. I set the feeder

I was surprised that as soon as the fountain was assembled my cat took to exploring it and drinking from. She is normally skittish of new things. I set the feeder to portion not long after assembled and though my cat was cautious by the third mouthful she was comfortable eating from it. As far as portion size my average portion dispensed with different levels in the hopper was 11g. The food i am using as my example is. SquarePet, POWERCAT, Cat and Kitten Formula, Turkey & Chicken Formula. 5.5x7mm pellet that weighed 33g for a 1/4c portion. I share this info for those that are afraid of over feeding due to lack of info on portion size, like myself. Since I am using the feeder temporarily and didn't want an expectation of larger portions ones once we returned to normal feeding routines.

Feeder works just as described. I sometimes work long shifts so being able to deliver small portions throughout the day works very well for my cat. Seems to alleviate his stress eating tendencies; if too much time passed between meals he would overeat and vomit. That hasn’t happened since we got this for him. I’m especially happy with the water fountain. Stays clean, I waste less water and time because my cat no longer sticks his paws into it. He likes to drink the moving water and honestly, that it is a cute little fountain is delightful and provides a calming, subtle background sound.

Perfect for homes with multiple animals

Decided to go the automatic feeding route, as I was tired of our dogs constantly emptying the cats cheap gravity feeder. I also was realizing the feeder would overfill;

Decided to go the automatic feeding route, as I was tired of our dogs constantly emptying the cats cheap gravity feeder. I also was realizing the feeder would overfill; resulting in cat food on the floor (not ideal when you constantly are battling sugar ants due to the location of our home). Now I can set a schedule of release of a food, minimizing the dogs ability to eat entire containers of feed. Also now less food spillage. The plus is also now controlling the amounts of food our cats eat (they might be considered slightly round lol). The waterer is also amazing at keep fresh circulating water for them! Generally I give them fresh water daily and with this, it'll be a task that changes from daily to instead weekly; great for busy homes!

The combo has been running for 3 weeks now, and she already knows when the food dispenser is going to activate. She also drinks more water than before. She hates stagnant water to the point she would stalk you on the toilet waiting for you to flush. That hasn't happened sense I set it up. So far no complains about quality. The only downside there in no instruction on how to get replacement filters for the water fountain.

It comes out like a fountain which the cat loves. Highly recommend if going on a short vacation and need piece of mind that your cat will be ok

Let's just say, he deserves the best. After adopting my senior cat, he started eating too quickly and getting sick. We started feeding him smaller portions throughout the day but it quickly became a hastle. We knew that getting an automatic feeder would be a must for our kitty. On top of that, we noticed that he would routinely dip his chin in his water bowl, not only soaking his coat but also making a mess. So when I was browsing chewy and I saw this auto feeder and water fountain bundle I knew it was a must!! It works just as described and the included instructions are easy to follow. My only complaints are that I wish there was a way to turn off the light in the water bowl and I wish it came with extra filters. But no biggie, still very impressed and I know my kitty will be impressed too!

Cat is too picky ...

So, my cat is not a fan. Something about the bowl - he won't use it. Even when it is full, he looks for his other bowl and wants food in it. The other bowl is not

So, my cat is not a fan. Something about the bowl - he won't use it. Even when it is full, he looks for his other bowl and wants food in it. The other bowl is not compatible with this feeder. He enjoys the fountain as his personal wadding pool. Doesn't really drink from it, just plays in it. He still prefers the dog bowl for drinking. So, this was a bust for us, but I'm sure it would be great for a less princely cat.
