Set-up is easy! Took cat a few days to get used to it, but it works great. Nice thing is once you set the clock and meal times on the dispenser, even if you unplug

Set-up is easy! Took cat a few days to get used to it, but it works great. Nice thing is once you set the clock and meal times on the dispenser, even if you unplug it for some reason (I had to move it, try different locations) the settings remain even without having batteries in! A few other reviews mentioned it needing batteries - but those are only for back-up in case your power goes out! Unit does not NEED batteries. Also takes awhile to get used to the sound of the fountain - it constantly sounds like water is running somewhere. And it is loud when food is dispensed, but again you get used to it.

I wanted an auto feeder and watered fountain for when I’m gone for a day or two and can’t find someone to come by and check on my cat. But I’m on a budget and didn’t need the fanciest thing. These items were relatively easy to put together and they both work well! For the low price, I’m totally satisfied. Two notes: 1. The fountain has a filter, but it still gets scummy over time from my hard-ish tap water. But you have to clean it regularly to reduce bacteria anyway. Cleaning is not too cumbersome. 2. The water fountain can only work by plugging into the wall (it can’t take batteries). Oddly, the feeder can work with batteries OR via the wall plug.

I will admit, my cat wasn’t a fan at first. Initially she was rather scared of it, but warmed up after about a week or so. Since then, she’s been using both items no problem! They were easy to clean and set up; I will say that the portions for the kibble are a bit small, but that’s easy to resolve by just increasing the quantity dispensed. Over all, I’m very happy with this product, just have to give your pets a chance to warm up to it first!

I love that the feeder has battery backup. Unfortunately, the waterer does not have battery backup. The instructions for the feeder and waterer are helpful. Manually put out a portion before setting the meals in advance. Am testing this out several days before leaving the cat while I go on a short trip. Love that you can record a call. My cat took to the feeder and waterer right away.

I ordered this set ahead of a weekend trip away from my cat at home. The set looks really nice. Low profile. The feeder’s clock uses a 24 hour clock, so I was able to easily set up meal times once I learned it was using that standard. Wish there was more clarity about how much food a serving is but was able to figure it out with a couple of trial runs. My cat seemed a little nervous about the fountain but she’s getting used to it. I did follow another reviewers advice by removing the flower. It wasn’t adding much to the look or functionality of the fountain. Happy with my purchase. So far so good!

Bang for your buck

I'm so glad I found a dual feeder/waterer from here. Other ones I found from different retailers were only gravity feeders, so it wouldn't have helped my cat learn

I'm so glad I found a dual feeder/waterer from here. Other ones I found from different retailers were only gravity feeders, so it wouldn't have helped my cat learn to pace herself when eating. It wasn't too difficult to set up, it just took a little while to understand the buttons and steps. I would definitely recommend for other cat owners to get, especially if you're not trying to spend too much!

Good In Theory

Went together easy enough. Set timer but trying to set amounts and time together, did not work. Tried re-setting to factory settings would default to feeding 12...interesting

Went together easy enough. Set timer but trying to set amounts and time together, did not work. Tried re-setting to factory settings would default to feeding 12...interesting. I was trying to program for a.m. and p.m. and a tiny late night snack. Most of the food comes out at night. Will try again but I bought it in order to feel secure the cat would be fed on a timely basis not an all or nothing.

Saved my sleep! Easy to program, works reliably

My cat no longer wakes me up in the morning asking for food since I programmed the first feed of the day to dispense before I have to get up. I saw some other people complain about it being difficult to program the mealtimes, but the directions were perfectly clear and I had zero issues. It works great! The water fountain works well, but my silly cat has shown zero interest in it so far. The feeder is great!
