What happens if the power goes out? Will there be water in the top bowl or does it all drain down to the bottom bowl?

It will drain to the bottom of the bowl. There’s only a very thin layer of water, which drains via gravity back into the basin if the power goes out or the pump otherwise stops working.

We just received our water fountain today and couldn’t wait to get it open and start using it ( 01/07/26) it was super easy to put together and get going for our

We just received our water fountain today and couldn’t wait to get it open and start using it ( 01/07/26) it was super easy to put together and get going for our four dogs and they all took to it pretty easily ( we have a Australian Shepherd, Dalmatian, Basset hound, and a beagle just for reference) I will say this isn’t their main source of water, our basset hound puppy has another special type of water bowl right next to this one but he loves this new one just as much and goes back and forth. It’s extremely quiet and you can’t even hardly hear it at all unless it’s dead silent and you are really listening for it.

This has a huge reservoir with a nice big window so you can see exactly how much water is in it. My cat has had thisfor several days now and has been completely unable to dismantle it. This is our fourth water fountain. He is a frustrated mad scientist who lives to dismantle his water fountains while also refusing to drink water that is not moving. This was easy to assemble. It’s very easy to clean. I like that the filters are not sitting in the water. I think this is gonna be a very nice long-term solution to my cats fascination with dismantling his water systems.

I had spent way more for a KittySpout whose motor died and I was getting the run around from customer service. Their fountain did not have a view of the water from the side. This one does! My dog especially drinks tons of water and between two fountains I have (the other is small and old, will be upgrading soon), I only have to fill the water fountain once a week! So, I have three dogs. I recently have been making a better effort to offer them the best possible care. Higher quality food was my first goal. Then, recently I read an article about how bad the water bowls are for dogs. Bacteria breading water, which causes health problems for them. (Specifically kidney disease) So, I found this on your website and decided to give it a try. A Christmas present for my dogs. They are slowly figuring out, that this is their new water bowl, but so far so good. I also love how quiet it is. I can’t even hear the pump. I love seeing clean water. It makes me feel better that I’m taking better care of my dogs.

My senior dog has developed kidney issues and I am hoping this fountain helps keep her and my other dogs healthier. It is very silent and holds a lot of water which is essential for my 4 dogs. My 10lb Chihuahua has no issues drinking out of this fountain (I thought it might be too tall but it's a good height for a small dog) and the Aussies have no problem drinking out of the gross bird fountain and puddles outside, so hopefully this fountain convinces them to drink the clean flowing water inside instead. They seem to like it so far!

Mya doesnt drink a ton of water. She's actually quite picky. She will smell each water bowl (we have 3 as I did have 3 dogs) and if one of them isn't fresh water, or clean, she won't drink from it. Hoping this new pet fountain will encourage more drinking from her! It's super easy to set up, and is quiet as a mouse. It holds a perfect amount of water too. She's taken a couple laps out of it after a few minutes of having it set up, hoping to get much more use of it! Happy with this purchase.

We purchased this as a Christmas gift for our grand dog. He seems to love drinking from his new bowl. This required absolutely no adjustment period to get used to it. Our two house cats seem to be enjoying this bowl, as well. I witnessed one of my cats waiting in line behind the dog, while he rehydrated himself so she could step up and and began drinking from the new bowl. Our cats have several small bowls strategically placed throughout the house. (All with daily fresh water changes.) Now the prefer the dogs Christmas gift.

Super easy to set up and works flawlessly from the get go. Most importantly, my puppy LOVES it. She started drinking from it the second I stood up from plugging it in. Wish I got this sooner.

Product as described, holds a couple of days water for 2 pups, and I can EASILY monitor the water level each time I feed them. I like that it’s filtered and keeps the water flowing clean. I cleaned it upon unpacking it and monthly cleanings should be a breeze. Picture shows a full days use, trapped dirt on top can be easily cleaned regularly. Very happy with this purchase
