Instructions
Refill Often: Please keep the water level above 30% or full all the time. The pump will fail if it runs dry.
Clean Regularly: Clean the pump, water tank, drinking basin, and the filter every 1 - 2 weeks. Be careful to remove the filter and sponge before cleaning.
Replace On Time: Replace the filter every 1 - 2 weeks when you clean your fountain. Replace the sponge every 3 - 4 weeks, depending on the frequency of use.

Ive tried other fountains before, for my dog who wouldn't drink enough water and this fountain is so great for us! In only a couple of days I was refilling it and it has plenty of space for her to drink. Shes an 150 pound healthy weight caucasian shepherd. So if you think it might not be deep enough for your dog it definitely will be.
