Not for long hair dogs
I have a long haired retriever and the wouldn’t even begin to cut. These would likely work on smaller short haired dogs with then coats.

It clipped smoothly, didn't catch hair, clipped closely with ease and held a charge for a hour of grooming. I love it!

I bought this to trim the hair on my pups paws. It charged up quickly and kept its charge but it was was not cutting the hair very well. I had to go over and over

I have had a groomer come to the house in the past because my dog is soooo anxious of lots of noise and strangers. She has a heart murmur so I have to keep her
I have had a groomer come to the house in the past because my dog is soooo anxious of lots of noise and strangers. She has a heart murmur so I have to keep her as stress free as possible or she has an episode. Finally, I have found clippers that are super quiet, sharp and easy for me to use. They don't catch or pull her hair either. I'm very impressed by the quality. This will save me tons of money and save my dog stress. I absolutely would recommend these clippers!
