This fountain is sturdy and your cat wont be able to topple it over, it’s heavy! My cat used to make a mess with his old water fountain but he has proven he can be a tidy kitty with this fountain, no more messy feeding station at home! It’s relatively quiet. I wish you could remove the pump to scrub the area where you set the filter, but I don’t see a way to detach the pump efficiently from the plastic insert where the filter rests. I particularly like the fat is the water reserve last quite a bit and it does evaporate. I have that problem during winter with regular bowls, the water just evaporates with the AC heat. Not with this awesome

I am completely impressed (and sorry I didn't know sooner) that what I've learned about dogs natural instincts about water "safety" is true in that my 9yo has never drank so much in her life! She have increased her water intake by 150%. She has a chronically dry nose and in the first week, it's healing and becoming more moist. I just feel bad for all my other babies who've crossed the rainbow bridge. But the unit is perfect! Easy to clean, easy to fill and charge. I have the 2 pups and am fulling it about every other day and it needs to be charged every couple of days on the auto setting. It is in a higher traffic area so that is a consideration for battery life. Overall...just GET IT!!!

We have been making a concerted effort to move away from plastics in our lives and decided if we don’t want to eat/drink from plastic, why do we expect any different for our two cats. We’ve had a flower water fountain for years and our Kiki has specially liked the water that flowed from the fountain. It took about a week for the girls to get used to the foreign object in the house, but once they accepted that it was not a threat, they took right to it. Kiki really loves the water in this new fountain and we are happy knowing they are drinking water out of a stainless bowl. It is very quiet in the house. We travel in a camper a lot - we are hoping it will be equally quiet inside the smaller space.

I bought this after reading lots of reviews of various fountains. Super clean and quiet w just a slight water sound. I have 4 bowls for my gatos that I have to keep
I bought this after reading lots of reviews of various fountains. Super clean and quiet w just a slight water sound. I have 4 bowls for my gatos that I have to keep cleaning/refilling and thought this looked like a great idea! My 2 cats don’t drink out of the faucet like the cute cats on video, so I got the bubbler model. Easy to set up, and the electronic movement sensor works great!! It’s been 2 weeks and so far my ginger guy has gone from eyeing it suspiciously to giving it a wide berth. I brought back the big bowl and set it beside the fountain, hoping it would get him/them more comfortable w it. My ginger has restarted drinking from that bowl. This probably doesn’t seem like a great rvw, but it’s early still and I’m remaining optimistic. Personally, I love a water feature in the home!

it works really well, both plugged and unplugged. a lil funky when it's low battery but my cats seem to do well with it. the little one does seem encouraged to use
