Instructions

Quiet, great auto sensor, BUT... stopped working after two weeks!
This *was* a great water fountain - quiet, clean, looks nice, has a window to see levels, fresh water, animals adapted quickly to it. BUT ... it stopped working
This *was* a great water fountain - quiet, clean, looks nice, has a window to see levels, fresh water, animals adapted quickly to it. BUT ... it stopped working after 2 weeks. Battery charges, sensor light comes on, but the pump doesn't work. Super disappointing. Other reviews said the same, but I didn't listen due to the 4.5+ starts. Wish I had. :-( Chewy was great though, and I got a refund.
Amazing Water Fountain
Super quiet. Love the stainless steel bowl so it's less likely to get all the nasty stuff that plastic bowls get (even with regular cleaning). Tried all three modes
Super quiet. Love the stainless steel bowl so it's less likely to get all the nasty stuff that plastic bowls get (even with regular cleaning). Tried all three modes and we personally favor the timed one so that it's not constantly running and so that we can have it unplugged. The motion sensor is sensitive and will pick up people walking by it by about 3 feet so it definitely picks up our cat. Suggest plugging into wall for first time use then unplugging if you want timed mode or sensor mode. Keep plugged in if you want continuous. Blue light is also nice to see inside, a bit bright but nice to see so we don't accidently kick since on the floor. Worth the 5 stars.
Doesn't hold a charge
I ordered this two months ago as a backup and recently set it up when an older, similar fountain stopped working. This ran fine for about a day before it started

This ran fine for about a day before it started showing a low battery (I'd charged it fully immediately after unpacking it). After that, it never held a charge and even when plugged in, the light flashes red and it randomly won't run. Very disappointing as my cats liked it for the few days it did work and I really prefer a cordless model.

When we found an injured kitten and had her recuperate in a crate. We needed a water fountain in a place without a power source it seemed ideal. Within two weeks of using it in her crate it quick working. The battery charges, the buttons and lights work, the sensor sees motion, but the pump never turns on.
A lot of clean, fresh water in one location

Have had this unit for a few weeks now. Just had to charge the battery for the second time. I originally had it set on the sensor function. I think this would be great if the unit was in a location with less foot,and paw traffic. I went to clean,and change the water this morning and noticed the power light flashing red. After cleaning,I plugged it in and set it to timed flow. I'm hoping this helps reduce the running time to increase pump,and battery life. All three cat's love it. One took a few days to get the hang of it..an orange one...of course,but now they have no problems. I put one of their water bowls next to the new one and eventually within a few days all were on board...picked up the old bowl and haven't looked back. Something I've observed that mite help keep the water cleaner and fresher longer is...put the water fountain away from the food. There doesn't seem to be any food particles in the pan or in the filter holder like in the bottom of the conventional water bowl.

Great, until it stopped working
It took a lot of coaxing to get my cat to use the fountain, pasted churu near the water spout to encourage him. He finally started to use it over his other plastic

He finally started to use it over his other plastic fountain and within a week after that it stopped working. Luckily I did not throw away his trusty old plastic one. We’ve only had this fountain plugged in for less than 4 weeks. The red LED light comes on so I know power is working but then the light goes off and nothing happens. Sad cat momma.

I thought it would be perfect because she always tries to make the water move in her bowl. If only she wasn't terrified to go near it!
