Casfuy Enclosed Stainless Steel Cat Litter Box & Metal Scooper

I was excited to transition my cat to stainless steel litter boxes. This litter box in particular was used. At first I thought that some of the stainless steel may have gotten some sort of white/grey residue on the side part of the interior from warehouse production. I was planning to wash the box before putting her litter in anyway, no big deal. Then I noticed a smidge of brown poop when I unwrapped the step/litter catch and I picked up a used litter box smell. I’m returning both of the litter boxes I bought because it’s just careless and unacceptable. I used to buy from chewy a lot and am very disappointed that this was my first experience purchasing an item from here in several years. I understand that the cat who used this previously probably didn’t like it (?) so the owner returned it, but just because it was wrapped back up in plastic doesn’t mean it shouldn’t be checked before sending it to another customer.
