Feeding Instructions
Feed to your pet as a healthy reward or snack. Adjust the serving size according to the size of your pet. If your pet is hesitant to eat the grass from the planter, you can try cutting some pieces up and putting it with their food, or some pets even prefer to eat the bits from the floor. You can spritz the grass with water or hide a treat in the grass to encourage feeding.
Instructions
1) Add soil contents to planter
2) Add enough warm (not hot) water to fully moisten the soil (about 5 or 6 ounces)
3) After water absorbs, stir soil and allow to sit for about 10 minutes
4) Fluff soil and remove about 2-3 tbsp. soil and set aside.
5) Sprinkle seeds evenly over soil
6) Cover seeds with 1/8-inch soil and gently press soil over seeds
7) Place planter in a warm, semi dark area (just away from direct light, not in complete darkness as it may cause mold). NOTE: For faster results cover planter loosely with plastic wrap just until first sprouts appear (no longer than 1-2 days)
8) After sprouts appear or no more than two days, remove plastic wrap and move to a sunny location
9) Keep soil moist until grass reaches 3 inches. Check moisture daily. Once established: do not over water.
10) In about 4-7 days, once grass reaches about 4-5 inches it is ready to feed to your pet.

I have had problems with mold growing in my cat grass planter. So I used less soil, and wrapped soil in brown paper liner to help aerate soil. I’ve been tending to these seeds for over a week, gently misting the seeds and the soil, alternately with saturating the seeds to encourage growth. They have full morning sun, but nothing for two weeks. The seeds must be bad. I’ve purchased from Chewy many times, but this time, nothing sprouted.
Nice, thick, green grass blades.
Meow! I love this grass. My mom grows it for me in small containers. I eat it several times a day.

I have been growing this grass for years and have glorious results but this last batch of seeds is not right because very few seeds germinate root growth. The ones that do grow are very small and die within a week. I have tried at least 10 times with the same results.
