I loved the fact that my cat could drink from different levels. They took to it right away. One problem I noticed however was keeping it plugged in all day and night, the plug that goes into my outlet was getting quite hot so I was checking it regularly and was unplugging it at night. This may just be a bad plug since I use this particular electrical outlet a lot and never had this problem.

I only saw my one cat drink out of it once my other cat is fascinated with water, and she just likes to sit by it for comfort. I took off one star because I rarely see either of my cats drink out of it. I have to say it was the least expensive one, but it was easy to put together when watching a YouTube video. I found not using the cartridges that it was cleaner than when you do use the cartridges because the charcoal just gets in the water. The adapter gets hot so I don’t keep it plugged in all day. I keep it plugged in for a couple hours and then my cats are sleeping Iunplug it. it doesn’t really act as a water spout because the water doesn’t come out that hard so it is moving water, but don’t expect a waterfountain for them to be putting their tongue under the water in the air. The water just streams out against the incline slide. I don’t feel like wasting my money because if it helps, Nina feel better and it’s a comfort to her then that’s fine. when I have the charcoal answer for the filter, I guess it’s called. It started getting hair and dirty within a few hours, but when I took the filter out and just ran it without the filter, the water seems cleaner, and I only need to replace it once a week. since neither cat is really using it as a fountain, I just put tapwater in it. there is hardly any noise at all.

These fountains depend on the small pump...it either works or it doesn't when you receive the fountain. Get a refund if it doesn't. Mine worked just fine. I have

These fountains depend on the small pump...it either works or it doesn't when you receive the fountain. Get a refund if it doesn't. Mine worked just fine. I have lots of experience with small submersible pumps like this and the key is to keep up with the easy maintenance (cleaning brush included). It's cheap enough that if it conks out eventually I will replace it. Cats like it.

I liked it but

I liked the different levels, it runs quiet. My 3 kitties were fascinated for a few days but soon stopped looking at it. I cleaned it frequently but no matter what

I liked the different levels, it runs quiet. My 3 kitties were fascinated for a few days but soon stopped looking at it. I cleaned it frequently but no matter what I did, white foam built up in the lower level so I didn’t feel good about my kitties drinking recycled water. They weren’t using it anyway so I returned it.

She Loves It
