CatGuru Round Stainless Steel Cat & Dog Food Dish, 2 count

These are the most expensive cat bowls I have ever purchased but somehow they are also the worst. Positives = my cats like eating out of these bowls. Cons = I bought this because of the ridges in the bowl. I thought they would stop the food from spilling out of the dish as my cats kind of push forward as they eat their wet food. These ridges do absolutely nothing to keep the food in the dish. The floor around these dishes is the messiest it's ever been. But the main reason I regret buying these bowls (which are pretty expensive for cat bowls) is that they give you a silicone mat rather than having any rubber or other material on the bottom. The bottom of the dish is just a thin metal edge that makes them awful to handle. They are loud. They are sharp. They are difficult to pick up because there's only one spot that's cut out where you can get your finger underneath to lift it but you can't see it unless you're eye level with the bowl. If you loose your grip when taking them off the counter, for example, you're treated to an awful metal CLANG that gives nails on a chalk board. Same on the floor, unless it lands on the silicone mat that is exactly the same size as the bowl so good luck. I'm honestly surprised at all the positive reviews because this is just a really bad design, in my opinion. I've never written a review before but I would not have purchased them if I knew the above information. So, hopefully it helps someone else make the right decision for them.

Food doesn’t get stuck in corners anymore instead it slides right off the dish! Maybe I just have messy kitties.

I love that these are good for the cats so they don't stress their whiskers. I can toss them in the dishwasher and they come out great! I hope to get some more soon!
