She was a stray/feral we fed for over a year. Tried to trap her all summer long using tuna, mackerel, sardines, chicken, but this cat would not go in the trap and not let us go near at all! She was pregnant at least once during this time, tho we never saw the kittens. Then on February 15, 2016, I opened the door to put her food out as usual, there she was as usual, but she was acting quite unusual! Being all sweet showing me her bum, very pregnant as well. Oh I knew it that was my chance! I ran inside got a carrier and put it near the door. I attempted twice but not fully executing the grab move, she seemed ok w it. Man, I could hardly believe it! Third attempt and I went for it, grabbed herShe was a stray/feral we fed for over a year. Got her spayed in the next two days and now over three years later, here she is on her bench! Chill as can be one of a kind Lily :)… more
Cute as an Christmas sleigh but ...

Love this but the catnip that came with it — it should’ve explained to not dump it all on the scratcher at once. I made that mistake and most of the catnip dropped through the holes on to my carpet. Also, my little red cardboard sleigh was slightly damaged. The middle of it on both sides is crumpled, not smooth.

I am a pet sitter and have given this scratcher to many of my clients cats. Our cats loved it and so do all my clients cats. One client said that is cute but my cat will never use it. She called me a few days later and said her cat sleeps and sits on it all the time. She said she loves to scratch on it too. Best small scratcher out there.
cheap but she loves it

This is her royal highness' throne, and has been in my home for over three years. We bought it for her when she was a kitten, and she scratched at it a bit for the first year or so, then decided it was a preferred perch. The cardboard is softened from scratching, but the bench is intact and plenty sturdy enough to support her 10 pound self. The only "maintenance" I've had to do on it is use a glue stick to keep the red tagboard design in place. She's never managed to tip it over or tear pieces of cardboard off it. It was a good purchase.
Haven't met a cat that hasn't like these yet

I got this for cat in hopes that he would stop trying to shred our furniture. Not only does he scratch it instead of the couch, he also likes to sit on it and survey his kingdom. My cat loves it so much that I decided to get some for a friend and their two cats. They also are all over them.
Cute but let it air out

Out of the package, this needed to go outside due to Having a strong smell but sitting it on the porch for a few days seems to have cleared that up. I suggest giving this a light spray of catnip essence, rather than sprinkling with the catnip provided. The herb falls right through the cardboard and onto the floor. My cat Jack is still figuring it out.
Odd smell when removed from plastic

My cats chew up almost all their scratchers, and this one was no different, but what bothered me more was the odd smell it had out of the plastic. I can only describe it as ‘old cardboard,’ and it did not go away quickly. One of the boys likes to sit on it, but at the rate he also is tearing pieces off of it, it will be done soon.
Good for even the most destructive kitties

I have three cats with three distinct personalities. One loves to rub their face against this, one like to scratch it, and one loves to do his best at demolishing it.
So far, both of the scratchers I bought are still in great condition. Many other brands that I have bought in the past have been destroyed quickly. This one is tough enough to last for a while. Great choice with a great price point.

My cat loves this couch so this is the second one we purchased. It arrived bent and warped as shown in the photos. The box that it was delivered in was not damaged, however.

Our "princess" loves this clawing couch. She loves to lay on top like royalty, but also loves to play under it. We throw her toys under it and she goes crazy! It's also a great scratcher, she loves the catnip.
