Cat loves it - no mold
I saw some reviews complaining about mold growing - I did not have this problem. I thought I did at first - the seeds germinate in this fuzzy very mold looking substance but it wasn't actually mold - just the germination process (it looked horrifying. But every seed was doing it and there was no actual mold outgrowth so I feel good that it was just the seeds looking weird). I really like the green cover - it keeps my cat from messing with the seeds and the growth medium while the grass grows. He loves his grass.
Cats like it!
Super easy to set up and fun to watch it grow! Plus the cats are already interested in it! Super neat highly recommend!!
Cat oats grass
This was purchased as Christmas gift for furry family. Friend had recommended along with pics of her cat enjoying it, lol. Sure it will be hit! Plastic weave cover over planted seeds seemed like excellent idea.

The dish is nice. The stand of grass is not as thick as I expected. The cats like it ok.
No Go! Worthless and ultimately gross
Followed instructions exactly and grew to strands of grass, smelled and went moldy. Do not buy. Just awful!!
Fantastic & Works
I bought this for my cat who is obsessed with gnawing on my plants. Not only did it help curtail that habit, but my other cat enjoys it as well. It is sturdy! Cant be turned over or dug up. Plus, it grows fast!

The included instructions weren't very forthcoming but I looked online and found better info. Grass grew great and my cat loves it!
Not too shabby, jungle beast likes it
The first attempt at growing was a failure, so following the directions as written doesn't work. So I tried soaking the seeds in water, in a dish covered with cling wrap to get a greenhouse effect, and planted them across the growing medium after they plumped up and started sprouting. Soak the seeds for at least 2 days, and it should grow great. Otherwise the growing medium soaks up all the water and the seeds can't sprout. The grass is in a south facing window and gets some good sun, but I will admit the window area is drafty and cold so I was worried it wouldn't grow. But it grew...and grew...and grew. As it started poking up, my cat was picking out the sprouts and eating them, I laughed and told him not to eat it all before it has a chance to grow. He loves it though, eats the young sprouts and likes laying on it when it's taller. The instructions say to change the grass every 3 weeks, and I changed mine at about 4 weeks. There was a bit of mold starting near the roots, but it didn't smell yet or seem bad. So probably best to follow the 3 week cleaning schedule or mold is a given. But the roots from the seeds were plenty! Had to cut the grass down to remove the top grate.

My cat who is a picky eater even when it comes to different types of catnip plants and grass she absolutely adored it so go out and buy it for your cat is good for their belly she hasn’t thrown up since I got this grass. It also lasts a long time I’ve had it for a while and still with us!
Great product
My cats just love this product!! They were at the grass as soon as it started to grow I had to move it higher until it was nice and long.
