One cat was interested, the other wasn’t. I followed the instructions, and the grass grew easily and quickly. After a week or so, it was filled with mold! I had to throw out all the seeds. Haven’t decided if I’ll grow more grass in it since my cats weren’t that interested to begin with. Container is nice.
I have 2 cats who enjoy the grass. I have been using this grass system for over 2 years and never had an issue. I have notice that the blades of grass ate pretty thick ,so I have to cut the grass and place it in a bowl. I just started another batch and thos time I am only using half of the seeds and base product to see if it will grow more thin.
The grass didn't grow at all... what more can I say!
Love the container! The seeds and plant mix did not work. Only one piece of grass grew in over 4 days. Replaced it with planter mix and wild bird seed and it grew in 2 days. She loves it. I would buy it again just to get the container but the seeds were useless.
The grass grew fast and they explored it but none ate it or payed attention to it thereafter. Not a hit
The instructions were easy to follow and everything started sprouting in about a week. This is about 2 weeks of growth. I haven’t noticed any mold, like other people mentioned.
I saw some reviews complaining about mold growing - I did not have this problem. I thought I did at first - the seeds germinate in this fuzzy very mold looking substance but it wasn't actually mold - just the germination process (it looked horrifying. But every seed was doing it and there was no actual mold outgrowth so I feel good that it was just the seeds looking weird). I really like the green cover - it keeps my cat from messing with the seeds and the growth medium while the grass grows. He loves his grass.
Super easy to set up and fun to watch it grow! Plus the cats are already interested in it! Super neat highly recommend!!
This was purchased as Christmas gift for furry family. Friend had recommended along with pics of her cat enjoying it, lol. Sure it will be hit! Plastic weave cover over planted seeds seemed like excellent idea.
The dish is nice. The stand of grass is not as thick as I expected. The cats like it ok.
