This brand also has a litter made of pea husks that is effective. I ordered this one accidentally and won't order it again. It isn't absorbent and doesn't control odor. We have 9 cats and appreciate a good litter.

I wrote previously about this Catit Bamboo, vanilla scented litter. My first review was to give this just an 'okay' rating. Well, we've had time to finish the first box (box contains two 3.95 lbs bags). This lasted about 30 days with two adult indoor cats. It does still track, but not and worse that any other litter we've tried over 50 years I've had cats - and less tracking that many I've tried. Odor control with the light vanilla scent is superb. Can't think of one that has performed better for the odor. Dust?? There is none, zero, zip. It is necessary to give it time to clump properly - scoop a little on top of a wet spot to insure it all can clump firm before scooping the clump out. I shake the scooper back and forth a little to let dry pellets drop back into the litter box. Disposal is quick and easy and I feel better about it being bamboo rather than some offerings out there. Today I just ordered two more boxes.

I have more than a few cats and buy only the best litter. I have specific criteria that I expect it to meet. On this level this litter was excellent in lightnees

I have more than a few cats and buy only the best litter. I have specific criteria that I expect it to meet. On this level this litter was excellent in lightnees of weight, however upon opening one of the two bags it came in the white pellets spilled all over as it is shrink wrapped. The smell has a light sweetness to it but looking into scented litters I would have preferred it to be a tad heavier. It is vanilla. I did mix the product in one of my cat boxes and used the other bag alone. I did not notice any real difference in the effectiveness of odor control when mixed with with my normal unscented brand which is a heavy clumping litter. When used alone is was OK however, the cats were a little leary of the white pellets. Plus' are lightness of weight, easy to clean the dirty boxes out, scent not overwhelming but could be better for those wanting it. Would not recommend for those with more than three cats as it is pricey and you just get a little under 8 lbs.

This litter far outperformed my expectations. I was a bit wary of the “vanilla-scent” as I am not normally a fan of vanilla scented products. Honestly I haven’t detected any scent, good or bad with this litter, which to me is a huge plus. I obviously don’t want to smell dirty litter, but one of my major complaints with my current brand is the heavy chemically perfume scent of it. This litter is lightweight to handle- and comes shrink wrapped in two separate bags with handles attached. Very easy to deal with. I also live that there is no dust at all when pouring into the cat pan. The litter does the job. I have two cats and have used it for 4 days without scooping to test how well it could handle the odor-I’m amazed…..no smell at all. My one and only complaint is that whatever they have tracked out is pretty visible-little white balls on the floor. I currently use a boot mat to catch any tracked litter. I’m fairly sure that if I switch to a higher pile mat to place the cat pan on this problem will be solved or at least greatly improved. I am switching to this brand. Very happy with the product!

dust free kitty litter with a great vanilla scent!

Love this cat litter. To start is so light and the vanilla scent is really nice. There was zero dust when added it to the litter box and so far it clumps nicely

Love this cat litter. To start is so light and the vanilla scent is really nice. There was zero dust when added it to the litter box and so far it clumps nicely. I use to use arm and hammer slide but after using this I'll be switching. Its also vacuum sealed which was a nice surprise for no mess.

The cat litter has a pleasant scent out of the box. My 17 year old cat used it readily. It lives up to its claim of being dust free, and clumps as you would expect

The cat litter has a pleasant scent out of the box. My 17 year old cat used it readily. It lives up to its claim of being dust free, and clumps as you would expect. My only issue with the cat litter is that my cat has a tendency to track the litter from the litter box location in our bathroom into our bedroom. However, the size of the granules make it easy to sweep up.

I was concerned that perhaps my cat would not use his litter box with this product, but that was not at all an issue. I do like the fact that it is ultra light and dust free. The scent was nice and not overpowering. I do not care for the texture of the product and it seems like it is harder to scoop that conventional kitty litter. Although it is a natural bamboo product, I will probably stick with my current brand of kitty litter.
