The ability to swap in a clean, pre-filled tray at a moment's notice is priceless. It frees up so much time and gives you the freedom to handle meal prep on your own schedule. With this six-compartment tray prepped and ready, your cats will never have to wait. It also comes with the plastic ring that is necessary to move the tray. YAY! Ok so having an extra feeder tray makes life easier especially if you are traveling and asking a friend to feed for you or hiring someone. Because with dry food you can have a second tray set up for them to pop in if you are gone for more than six days! Just cover with press and seal and put in the cabinet (don’t forget to tell them where). The trays are dishwasher safe which is great if you are using wet food because you can have another one ready to go while you wash one!

The tray is just like what comes with the Pixi unit so I wasn’t surprised that I liked it (my cats and I love the feeder!). It’s great that I can prep meals onto the tray and then freeze the whole thing with the food on top there by keeping everything colder longer. Alternatively, it’s nice to be able to just have a very cold tray and then add food as needed. I especially like that I can also throw it in the dishwasher.

faster cleaning

Until I got this, in order to clean the stainless steel feeding trays, I had to take them out to wash them, while my cats glared at me for the empty spaces where

Until I got this, in order to clean the stainless steel feeding trays, I had to take them out to wash them, while my cats glared at me for the empty spaces where they believed food should be. This takes care of that problem, because now I can wash one and just replace it with the other. It keeps the cats much happier with me. With four cats, it's best when they're happy.
