Catit Smart Mouse Camera was used in family room & kitchen. I loved how the camera is adjustable and captured motion so well. The video & photos are clear and sound works well! It was easy to download the App and easily installed on our WiFi network. Chasey, Nique, Leon & Logan were captured while sleeping, hanging out and also getting into mischief! I really like this Catit Smart Mouse camera & it will be a hit in pet households!

Review is for the Catit Pixi camera. This little camera has a small footprint, is shaped like an adorable little mouse. Video quality is very good and I love that I can speak thru it to my cats. It also has a location to add a micro SD card to record which is a nice for capturing many videos. It has a sensitivity adjustment which is nice in a higher traffic area. It seems to be well made and it is very sturdy on the magnetic plate. The only thing I don’t care for is that it must set on the magnetic plate or something magnetic. It comes with a 3M sticky that can be used to mount the magnetic plate on a wall or non magnetic surface. Mine needs to be a little higher to capture the whole laundry room, however I don’t want to stick it to the wall and then peel off paint if I need to remove it. A mounting bracket would be something I would suggest. Other than the mounting issue, I really like this camera and will definitely continue to use it and learn more about it.

The setup was easy once I found this link on the website: https://www.catit.com/spotlight/catit-pixi-smart-mouse-camera-app-walkthrough/ I was surprised that the power source is corded, which limits where I can place it. It would be helpful if the description and package highlighted the importance of an SD card in order for it to fully function. The video is clear and good quality, but it does freeze at times. I especially like the night mode that allows you to see clear video even in the dark. The two-way audio is also a great feature. Overall, it's a good camera and a great way to keep an eye on your fur kids while you're out.

Took some time to setup as it isn’t compatible with 5GHz network. The picture quality is very good and even allowed me to watch my senior cat when lighting levels

Took some time to setup as it isn’t compatible with 5GHz network. The picture quality is very good and even allowed me to watch my senior cat when lighting levels were lower. Still need to purchase an SD to be able to record motion. I like the ability to talk to my cat when away for extended time.

This product couldn't have been brought to my attention at a better time, I recently adopted another kitty and I wanted to make sure her new brothers didn't bully her while I was away at work, I have the camera set up to show the window the boys like to be in during the day which is coincidentally right next to the bed my new little girl likes to sleep in, it allows me to keep an eye on them and give me peace of mind.
