I was hopeful after reading the reviews to get this for one of my cats who's getting older. He slept inside scratching post box that we've had for years--until he threw up in it. Thinking he'd earned something more comfortable, I gave this bed a shot. There is no problem with the construction itself but neither of my cats will sit in it. I have thrown treats in, sprinkled catnip over it, even tried plopping them gently in. I think they're confused by it. Honestly, I might try sitting in it myself since no one else is. It looks cozy! I'm hopeful that my next batch of foster animals will use it.

Leonard the Cat wouldn't go near it. Elle the Dog tried but only once. So I gave it to a neighbor whose oh so cute little Chihuahua dog named Snoop Dog loves it. The bed sits on the golf cart seat, positioned in their yard in the sun with Snoop sleeping in this bed. (yes we are in Florida). Oh so cute!!! Snoop is really a cat in disguise, even does the "slow blink" cats do.

He got right off of it. If I gently place him he walks out of it. Biggest waste of my money. I thought the thing would give way a bit but it hasn't. The base is also to small and flat.

The only cat bed my cat will use

My 14lb cat has never taken to cat beds and I’ve bought him multiple that he just doesn’t like. This one he actually uses. I think it might have something to do

My 14lb cat has never taken to cat beds and I’ve bought him multiple that he just doesn’t like. This one he actually uses. I think it might have something to do with the petals ‘holding’ him while he sleeps so he feels more contained. According to instructions you can put the entire thing in the wash too (haven’t tried this yet) so all in all I’m very pleased.
