Cavalor Derma Spray Horse Wound Spray, 250-mL

Product WORKS! Helps heal skin after scabbing of a wounded area. Encourages quicker healing and hair growth. Incredibly results in <1 month + affordable! My mare got into a squabble and earned some wounds in her hind area and and tail. After the wounds were cleaned, scabbed over, and started showing signs of healing from the inside out, I sprayed Derma Spray on the areas. Within the last 2.5 weeks, I've noticed a huge difference in the healing and hair growth process. Love this stuff and will keep it in our medical kit :)

Used this yesterday on a cut my Percheron got via a fencepost on his flank. He is a white/grey and typically oozes quite a bit before starting to heal. After this easy spray application, the wound appeared to 'seal' faster than usual which made me ecstatic as with fly season, I wanted to keep the bugs away. Our 17.2 hand warmblood gelding with a challenging combination of allergies and incredibly sensitive skin, is hard to find effective and gentle wound care products for. We recently put Cavalor Derma Spray Horse Wound Spray to the test, and I must say, it has impressed us. Product Overview: Cavalor Derma Spray is designed for external use to support skin regeneration and wound healing in horses. It comes in a convenient 250-mL spray bottle, making application straightforward. Our Experience with a Sensitive Big Guy: Application: The spray mechanism is a definite plus. It allows for easy, no-touch application. The fine mist covered the affected areas well without causing any discomfort or startling my gelding. The 250-mL size is practical enough for multiple uses, but not so large that it becomes cumbersome. Effectiveness on Wounds and Irritations: We primarily used the Derma Spray on a couple of minor scrapes incurred during turnout, and more significantly, on some irritated patches of skin that flared up due to his allergies, which he had rubbed. Scrapes/Minor Wounds: For superficial cuts, the spray seemed to promote clean healing. I noticed a reduction in redness and swelling within 24-48 hours, and the areas scabbed over nicely. There was no apparent irritation from the product itself, which is a common issue for us with other topical treatments. Allergy-Induced Irritation: This is where the product truly shone. His allergic reactions often lead to itchy, inflamed skin that he rubs raw. Applying the Derma Spray twice daily to these areas provided noticeable relief. The skin appeared calmer, less red, and most importantly, the intense itching seemed to subside, leading to less rubbing and allowing the skin to recover. I'm thrilled to report that our big guy showed no adverse reactions whatsoever to the Cavalor Derma Spray. No increased redness, no swelling, no hives, and no signs of discomfort upon application. Absorption and Residue: The spray absorbed fairly quickly without leaving a greasy or sticky residue, which is great for preventing dirt accumulation on the healing areas.
