if this has chicken, does it need to be refrigerated? if so, how does it stay freshband safe.

This food topper does not need to be refrigerated unless it has been opened. After opening, the unused portion should be refrigerated, then discarded after 3 days. The package is hermetically sealed so that no air can leave or enter the package before opening.

Great for a single serve.

Rock is on heart meds, so I ordered this to mix in the meds as the one med is a capsule, thus it's difficult to have him take it so I open it up and add it to Cesar. He loves the taste, it's just the right serving and the ingredients are healthy.

Expensive but the dog really likes it

After trying all sorts of small wet food toppers or mix ins, I have settled on this. The dog likes it the best, and what I like about it is it when you open the container, you feel like you could eat it yourself. I wouldn’t, lol, but the ingredients that are listed are exactly what is in it. Appears to be human grade. You’ll especially see, and smell, this with the plainer chicken flavors.

Best Food for any dog

This is the best food, my little dog loves it, always fresh just the right amount for her and ordering from Chewy’s is so quick it is here in no time. Glad I tried it!!! Only food my dog will be getting.

Great topper for my small dogs.

I only give each dog half a container on their dry food daily. It rounds out their nutrition and I love the fact that it has limited ingredients you can see.

Rice topper

Food Topper

Although, he doesn't get these toppers every day, my dog loves these crafted wet food toppers. As a guardian, these little containers of food resembles what we humans eat and certainly looks more interesting to eat than dry kibbles.

Yummy yummy

Riley loves his breakfast! I put this over his minced veggies and he gobbles it all up. Purina needs to be more consistent with the amount of chicken in each serving. Sometimes it’s mostly green beans. It’s a pricey food so please, Purina, make sure that there is plenty of chicken in every serving. Thank you!

Max loves this!

I have used the toppers before and the dogs seemed to like it. I have a new senior rescue dog and never mind likes it, he LOVES it! I feel good because I know I am not feeding him junk and he's getting healthier.

Fussy dog loves this

My dog who is extremely fussy about her food and becomes tired of every food she’s ever eaten loves this food. I sprinkle it over some of her dry food and she doesn’t even need to be called to eat.
