Its probably a good choice for dogs with teeth

I have a 11 year old Chihuahua with hardly any teeth. I buy her Cesar warm bowls. I thought I would try this, and she took a bite or two and wouldn't eat any of

I have a 11 year old Chihuahua with hardly any teeth. I buy her Cesar warm bowls. I thought I would try this, and she took a bite or two and wouldn't eat any of it. Maybe because it was cold or pieces of chicken were too big. I'll still stay with the warm food for her. Just wish the warm bowls wasn't so expensive. We go thur 4 to 5 a day.

Easy to store after opening. just slide it out of the bag, put it in a container and easy to divide it into correct sized portions. He loves the mixed blend meals

Easy to store after opening. just slide it out of the bag, put it in a container and easy to divide it into correct sized portions. He loves the mixed blend meals and he doesn’t get bored with meals anymore. I also use the meals in the bowls and when you have a fussy pup, mixing it up also helps with boredom.

It is just like the Freshpet you can buy in the store, only better! The only reason I did not give a full 5 stars, is not that there is anything wrong with it, my puppers had a reaction to it. I believe it is because they both have a slight chicken allergy. If I can find this in a Beef only formula I will be all over that. My puppers LOVED this one, except for when they started scratching.

At I’d too large for small dog. Takes too long to finish

She has been eating this food in small bowls for some time. It’s messy to get out of bag and takes too long for her to finish this much food.

I serve one half cup to our one year old Chiweenie dog. I store the rest in the refrigerator. I use a long tea spoon to reach into the re-sealable pouch. He really looks forward to eating these meals for dinner. This is the best way to sneak in those veggies because he avoids eating the Cesar food loafs with green beans but he will gobble up with these pouches.

The CESAR Wholesome Meal came in a 1.1 pound package. One of the first things that I noticed when I opened the package was that it smelled and looked good. It was easy to see and smell the beef, chicken and vegetables in the package. I have two dogs under 20 pounds that literally licked their bowls clean as soon as I served it to them. On another feeding, I mixed it with the dry food they’ve been used to eating and used the Cesar Meal as a topper. They immediately ate the Cesar Meal, but left their regular dry food for a few minutes. They would have eaten more if I had another package. I will plan to purchase this as part of their diet in the future.

Not your average "dog food"

I have to admit that I was very surprised by this particular product. I am an owner/breeder/showperson of Dogues de Bordeaux, a giant breed. Of course I knew that

I have to admit that I was very surprised by this particular product. I am an owner/breeder/showperson of Dogues de Bordeaux, a giant breed. Of course I knew that this small package wasn't going to satisfy a full meal for one of my dogs...But, I thought, what if I use this as a topper for my picky eaters? I have 3 of 5 dogs that are very picky and need to be coerced into eating their meals. When I opened up the package the first thing I noticed was that this food did NOT smell like normal dog food. The Cesar Wholesome Meals Beef smelled like a beef stew or possibly a beef roast with veg. You can SEE the beef, shredded chicken,diced carrots & green beans. It doesn't look like a brown hodge podge of something pressed together with gravy thrown on top, it looks like human food. I split the pouch, which contained more than you would think by looking at it, between all 5 dogs. Every dog was anxious to tuck into their meal and even the picky 3 couldn't eat fast enough. For small dog owners, this is a fabulous find for an entire meal, for those of us with large & giant breeds, I can highly recommend this as a topper and/or treat meal.
