My dog backs out of every harness I have bought for her. She is extremely fast when she does. Will this harness truly keep her from backing out of it? I am petrified to take her walking anywhere because I'm scared she'll get away from me.

Answer by ChewyFeb 08, 2021
When sized and adjusted properly, this harness will be very difficult to back out of.

This harness is described as a "No Pull" harness. Most "No Pull" harnesses have a leash attachment on the chest. This doesn't appear to have such an attachment based on the single product photo included, so what makes it a "No Pull" harness?

Answer by ChewyMar 11, 2021
This harness includes a front clip and a back clip.

Why is this listed as “no pull”, but doesn’t have a front clip?

Answer by ChewyDec 23, 2021
This harness features both a front and back clip to attach a leash onto.

What size does the neck adjust to on the Large harness? My dog has a 26" chest and a 14" neck, so he doesn't fit into many harnesses.

Answer by ChewyJun 30, 2021
The neck on the X-Small harness adjusts from 9-11 inches, the neck on the Small harness adjusts from 11-14 inches, the neck on the Medium harness adjusts from 14-17 inches, the neck on the Large harness adjusts from 17-21 inches, and the neck on the X-Large harness adjusts from 21-25 inches.

Very Snug

I have an overweight rat terrier/beagle mix. She has a tiny head and a barrel chest and is a mastermind at escaping harnesses/collars/leashes/etc. I need to take her on more walks but with her intense prey drive and her Houdini abilities coupled with stubborn recall when she sees "prey" (could be a leaf), I was hesitant to walk her around my neighborhood. With this halter, it fits snuggly! It seems to feel good too because she doesn't try to worm her way out of it. I call her my "kielbasa" because she is quite round but so far she hasn't been able to escape and walks semi-decently on leash! My dog is about 24lbs and I got her the large. I would definitely ensure to measure before purchasing to ensure a snug and safe fit! If/when I get another small (or small headed) dog, I will get another!

Nice, But Still Pulls

The harness seems comfortable for the dogs, but they still pull. (We have a border collie mix and hound mix) the harness is very sturdy and seems well made.

Escape proof!

This is my 2nd Double H harness! When I adopted my Beagle/Lab mix she was extremely skittish. Any sudden noise or passing bicycle and she would swoosh right out

This is my 2nd Double H harness! When I adopted my Beagle/Lab mix she was extremely skittish. Any sudden noise or passing bicycle and she would swoosh right out of her standard harness and run for the hills. Could NOT catch her either. When we first tried this brand/style neither of us liked it. The adjustments and clamps all seemed overly complicated. But once it was properly adjusted and we learned how to quickly get it on/off, it made our walks SO much better! She quickly learned that she was safe at my side no matter what passed us. This helped her relax and not freak out. And I no longer had to worry about her coming loose and dashing into traffic or the woods! We love this thing. I am planning to adopt a second dog very close in size to this one. So I bought this second harness in a different colour for the new dog. She hasn't arrived yet, on hold at a shelter out of town. I trust this brand and style of harness and highly recommend it. The dog's comfort and security is priority one.

Nice Harness But False Advertising

Ordered two of these for our huskies who unfortunately love to pull, but there’s no front loop making this NOT a no pull harness

Escape Proof but NO Front Clip

The fit is great for my dog and she’s been unable to escape this one. However, I bought this because it states there is a front clip but it only has a back clip

I only can attest that this harness is very well made. As for the functionality, I was not able to try it because my dog has an unusually big chest, slim stomach, and short torso. I was not able to adjust the harness. But for a typical body it would work great, I am sure. Thank you Chewy for the fantastic customer support.

Works the best for my small dog

This double harness is perfect for my little chi-mix who doesn't fit into other traditional harnesses very well. He was always slipping out of any harness we would

This double harness is perfect for my little chi-mix who doesn't fit into other traditional harnesses very well. He was always slipping out of any harness we would put him in. This double harness sets my mind at ease when we are outside! The reflective features are great, as well! I will definitely buy this again!

Keeps my dog secure.

The third strap has stopped my Houdini dog from backing out of harnesses. He has a broad chest so this is the perfect option for him. After several terrifying escapes

After several terrifying escapes from other harnesses this one has kept him secure. This is my third one as the claps are plastic and I want to ensure that they stay strong because he’s a puller
