Every time I come across an all-natural supplement for canine anxiety, I like to try it out. I have two dogs. The older one is a husky we rescued when he was around a year old, and he's at least 9 now if not older. He's always struggled with massive separation anxiety. He's chewed through multiple kennels, both steel and wood. He's not alone very often, but he cannot tolerate it. Any relief for him is a benefit to the whole family. The thiamine and L-tryptophan in this product are actually supplements I've tried in human supplements for myself, so I was thrilled to see these proven ingredients included here. Further, I thought my younger dog (a 2 year old Great Dane mix) could benefit from the ginger and chamomile, as she tends toward upset tummies before feeding time and sometimes burps up small amounts of bile. So, I eagerly started feeding these treats in the recommended amounts, just daily. I wanted to get a baseline rather than wait until a truly stress-inducing event. For our husky, it's stressful when his family leaves to go to the grocery store. So this is daily stuff for him. And I couldn't leave out our puppy... :-) Results: We have some calm, happy dogs. We noticed an increase in happy roughhousing/playing, less frenetic scratching at the door when outside, less urping up foam before mealtimes. The dogs both LOVED the taste and took these readily. Very pleased with this product! That said, it's not a miracle-drug or something. It's a supplement. It didn't change our dogs' personalities. You can find similar supplements in human products, if you want to see what they feel like!

I would recommend these over other brands

I have been using another big name brand calming chew with my dog, and we tried both flavors of these anxiety + stress chews from Chewy to see how they worked. ,

I have been using another big name brand calming chew with my dog, and we tried both flavors of these anxiety + stress chews from Chewy to see how they worked. , My dog has anxiety when there is thunder or when she is left alone. She loved the taste of both flavors and thought they were treats. She is not usually excited about taking the old brand and will sometimes walk away, leaving it on the floor.The chews seemed to calm her down without making her overly sleepy. She did still take her normal naps but didn't seem to be drugged out like she seems to be sometimes with the old brand. I had a doctor appointment and had to leave her home last week and she did better than normal with these chews. She took her treat and laid down on her bed when it was time for me to go, without a fuss. Nothing was destroyed when I got home and she calmed down quicker than normal. I think I will start using this brand from now on. She did better on this brand than the other brands we have tried in the past.

Chew plus Heal Anxiety Stress chews came in peanut butter and regular flavor it’s a moist medium size chew with no offending smell made for dogs up to 25lbs to 100lbs and over stating that 1 chew should be given to dogs up to 25lbs going all the way up to 6 chews for dogs weighing 100 lbs. My hyper one is 80lbs at first she was hesitant to eat the chew but after a couple of days she started eating them without thinking about it. She ended up showing some signs of calming short term they seem to help but I can not make a statement on long term effects

All three of my dogs enjoyed these chews and one of them is very picky. Hard to tell how much difference it made, but did seem to help keep them a bit calmer on
