She only does that for the treats she really likes. I haven't had these chews long enough to know if they're effective as lawn preservers, so I won't speak to that. I love my dogs dearly but one of the two of them is really destroying my backyard grass! I cannot figure out which one of them it is so both are taking these lawn saver supplements. They definitely do not mind because they think they are treats rather than supplements. More than caring for my lawn, I want my dogs to have a healthy urinary system so if that means a supplement a day, I think it is well worth it!
