Chew + Heal Salmon Omega Skin & Coat Supplement for Dogs, 360 count

I’m not sure how much they are doing for my dogs coats, my poor girl had a bald spot from itching and hair has all grown back and looks great. Adding these supplements wasn’t the only change I made when she was showing skin issues so it’s hard to say what helped most but they like them so I’ll keep using them!

The main reason for only 4 stars is the smell, the Brewers yeast comes on incredibly strong the moment the lid comes off. However, the boys seemed more excited over these than most the treats in their cabinet, so clearly it's my nose that has the problem. They have no hesitation to gobble these little things up. It's only been a few days, so I haven't seen any changes yet. However, their kibble has a main ingredient of salmon & I've seen improvement in their skin & coat from that, so salmon is clearly a super food for dogs. We'll continue to incorporate these in their diet, and since they think these are treats anyways, it helps cut back on the excess snacks they swindle me out of everyone we're in the kitchen.

I paid special attention to this product because my German Shepherd has always seemed to have skin irritation, lots of scratching, and a couple of hotspots. I have been using it for approximately a week, faithfully, no foul smell like some products I have tried in the past. Not only does he enjoy them, but I noticed His scratching is much less, I’m still waiting to see a change, perhaps in his coat. This is a product I would recommend solely based on the fact that His skin does not seem as irritated.
