My senior chihuahua being slowly having issues like: bumping into things, needing a flashlight to walk at night, just doing odd things?” So, I call my vet and discussed with his team my problems. My vet suggested to start using an “Omega 3-fatty acid supplement.” He did not give a name. Also, He gave me several names of vision doctors to go too. So, I made the appointment with the vision specialist and we will be going to that appointment soon. But, Chewy was very helpful with helping me to get this product rapidly! I search for hours for what I thought was the right one! (Former Nurse here, so I always research everything before using!) Aaron, has been on this for about a week. He is very small (7-to 8 pounds) and is 11- years old. I have had very good results with this supplement! I only give 1/2 a day and plan to increase over the weeks! But, he is more alert and seems to be peaceful! It has not made him sick at his stomach and he is resting better! I have not been paid to write this review! I just wanted to help other pet owners with this review! I am very pleased and highly recommend this product! Also, so grateful for the Chewy team who helped me get the product so rapidly!! These gummies were a big hit with my senior boy, who’s about to turn 15. I gave him gummies according to the dosage instructions for his weight and gave him all the gummies in the jar before posting my review. I’m definitely not a medical expert, but he seemed to have some slight improvements in vision and cognition :) it was very sweet to see. His vision seemed clearer and he seemed to grasp concepts a little bit faster than normal.

My pup didn’t like them at all

I got these for my aging pup but unfortunately I can’t get her to eat them. I’m not sure what’s in these that she won’t eat but she wouldn’t go near them. On to

I got these for my aging pup but unfortunately I can’t get her to eat them. I’m not sure what’s in these that she won’t eat but she wouldn’t go near them. On to the positives, they’re not very big and they are soft so if your pup had any dental issues, these can easily be broken down to make it easier to eat. I’m not sure if they work since my pup wouldn’t eat them. The recommendation for bigger dogs (over 50 lbs) is 6 soft chews a day which may be a lot for some folks.

I’m really impressed with this supplement—it’s packed with ingredients that help combat common age-related issues. It includes Lutein for eye health and turkey tail mushrooms for cognition, both of which are ingredients I personally use for aging, so I know they’re beneficial! While it’s hard to predict the long-term effects, I can already say the ingredients are high quality, and my dog absolutely loves the taste. One of my biggest struggles with supplements is the taste, especially with a picky eater. If they won’t eat it, then it’s just wasted money. But Ollie looks forward to these every day, which is a huge win for me. Another thing I appreciate is how fresh the supplement stays. I’ve had issues with other supplements going rancid after a month, but these maintain their freshness and the smell stays pleasant. At such a reasonable price, I’d definitely recommend giving these a try. The taste is great, the ingredients are well-known for their benefits in aging, and Ollie seems to enjoy them. Definitely worth considering if you're looking for a solid supplement for your pet.

First off, I think these supplements need to be taken for an extended period of time before really seeing any significant health benefits, but with that said, I did notice a few different behaviors that could be contributed to the supplements. One being more energy/alertness. My dogs are couch potatoes in their senior years, but in the last few weeks I have noticed a pep in their step and have wanted to go on walks more frequently. Another behavior that’s different is mental focus. Both my dogs love to play ball, but they tend to lose sight of the ball very easily. I’ve noticed in last couple weeks that they are able to stay focused and train their sight on the ball to find it a lot quicker. I also can say they really enjoy the taste and to them, it’s just a tasty treat! I would recommend this product and will get another supply to see what benefits I see with continued use.

Chew + Heal Senior Vision + cognition Soft Chews Supplement for Senior Dogs. It is hard for us to believe our dog Margiella is 10 years old. She is a mix of Mini Pin, Chihuahua and Rat Terrier with endless energy and we want her to stay that way. The product arrived on time and properly packaged. She's a picky eater but she loves the taste of these supplements (she thinks they are treats). Thankfully she doesn't show signs of aging aside from a few grey hairs on her snout but we hope starting her on these supplements will avoid it as much as possible.

What I liked about this product are the high quality ingredients that went into it. There hasn't been any noticeable cognitive improvement for our senior girl, but

What I liked about this product are the high quality ingredients that went into it. There hasn't been any noticeable cognitive improvement for our senior girl, but it's also not unusual for cognitive changes to take as long as 2-3 months, even with prescription medication. The big disappoint and reason we'll never know is because these supplements are anything but soft. Our small mix breed, senior pup has lost a lot of teeth, and the only way she could eat these was to break them into much smaller, pieces, and that wasn't easy for me because they aren't soft. If your senior dog is a large breed who can manage a crunchy treat, they wont have any trouble with these supplements, but they are neither soft or chewy.
