Unraveling after first wear
Bought XXXl for my 150 lb Great Dane and after the first day of wearing I noticed it was unraveling on the stomach side. I had to cut a bunch of it and tie it back together. Hopefully it holds. He seems to like it and keeps him warm.
Great Quality
Love this sweater! It has a nice thickness and weight to it and is very soft. It does start to lose its shape after playing and wrestling around and can start to look like an old man cape, but that's to be expected with the 50% wool material. I think like most dogs, my pup wasn't thrilled to be sporting a new sweater, but abandoned trying to chew it off quickly. The chest was broad enough to fit my 5-month-old mastiff who weighs about 80-85#. I am pleased with the quality of this sweater and love the grandpa sweater look. (PS, I could not figure out how to post a photo right side up, so apologies for sideways image.)
Can't get the sizing right with Chilly Dog
I purchased a Chilly Dog sweater a couple of years ago for my female boxer. She was (at that time) around 65 lbs. I bought her an XXL because boxer's chests are so wide. It was huge on her, wrapped around and under her tail. I donated it. So when buying this sweater for my male boxer (approx 65 lbs) I bought the XL. I couldn't get it over his head. This will be donated as well. I give up on buy sweaters for my dogs anymore.
Absolutely Fabulous !
This sweater is handmade and made absolutely fabulous! We know it will last a long time and the sizing is true to fit. The warmth it provides living on the coast in winter where it is cold & wet in the air is perfect for my short haired dog. The material is soft to touch not scratchy. Also customer service at Chewy is outstanding, we called to return a hoodie & the assistance was professional & efficient. Thank You Chewy for yur products & wonderful customer service people.

Great sweater! Looks adorable and keeps him warm
This sweater is great for my pit mix! He can't handle temps below 40 and we live in New England so he needs a sweater all winter. He looks so handsome in it too!! I got him an XL even though he's only 22 inches from neck to tail. He weighs about 60 pounds and has a barrel chest (pitty chest), so the XL fits him well. An XXL might have worked, but probably would have been a bit too long. We went for a hike yesterday in chilly, drizzling weather and he was happy even when we stopped for pics (usually he starts shivering if we stop for more than a couple minutes).
Cozy in Texas
I love this sweater for my pack. My German Shepherd has gotten so long he out grew his sweater so his hand-me-down went to my lab & Teddy got a new sweater. We needed it when the temperatures dropped into the teens in Texas. Oh my!
Great sweater
Very nice quality sweater. Holds it shape well. I even washed it in the washing machine against manufacturer instructions and then laid it flat to dry. Came out great!
PERFECT in Every Way.
I’ve struggled for years trying to find a sweater that would fit my short haired All American Mule Eared Wonder Dog and this is perfect. First sweater she doesn’t try to get of. It’s a perfect fit and obviously comfortable and warm. She’s happy, I’m happy.
