This was such a cute holiday sweater for photos or joy for holiday season. You definitely need to size up, my dog is a mini Labradoodle and I went up to 2XL and he had plenty of room. Sometimes, he was distracted by balls on sweater but overall okay in it.

it's cute, but absolutely not machine washable

The description says you can wash this in the machine, absolutely do not. The pompoms on it fell apart in the wash.
