I wish I could wear this coat myself! It fits my dog perfectly (I got the XL for my 55 lb Pointer-type mutt), the inside is soft fleece that stays very warm, the outside is hardy woven wool which insulates and protects against wind. She doesn't like coats that I have to slip over her head, so we both love that the straps wrap around her neck. It also has good coverage of her belly.

This is a beautiful coat with a thick fleece lining and thick plaid wool outside. I really like that the fastening bands around the chest and under the belly are very wide because the coat keeps her warm and the wind can't penetrate it. The opening for the leash clip is a bit too far back, but I put her harness on the outside of the coat and it works great.

My main reason for buying this was the ease of putting it on & taking off with velcro around the neck and belly. It is easy to get on and off over the harness I have on my dog. The fabric is nice and thick. It will keep my dog from refusing to go outside on cool mornings this fall/winter. This is my first time owning a dog that doesn't have dense fur so a good coat is necessary.
