What is this R40 vs R30 mean? We have a conure and cockatiel and need full spectrum light for the birds in the winter.

The R40 is 1310 lumens and measures 6.25 inches in length and 4.5 inches in diameter. The R30 is 1275 lumens and measures 4.75 inches in length and 3.5 inches in diameter.

Is this bulb the 3000K or 4000K color temperature version?

Gets too hot.

It’s huge and the base gets way too hot. It actually melted the plastic sticker on my lamp base. Scares me to leave it in there with my turtle.
