We had an older version of this toy from years ago and it was very thick and sturdy. My young dog loved it but it withstood her periodic chewing for over a year. This new one is very light and flexible to the point of being flimsy. I have to take it away from my dog immediately, I can’t let her retrieve it and hold it, she’d rip It up in a minute. I did read other reviews and knew they had said the same thing, but I haven’t found any other toy that I like so u decided to try it. Other fetching dummies are solid, the holes are a really good thing. I just wish they would make it in the study version again. I would not buy this again if it stays this flimsy.
Chuck it stick does not hold up to a serious Lab Retriever chewer! Slid chuckit balls far superior. Open lattice shape and structure destroyed within half hour!
My 3 goldens prefer the old fetch sticks. They seem to finds them in the water more easily. Would love to see the old ones come back!
We bought one of these a couple of years ago and our dog loved it! It is breaking now and we needed to replace it. BUT the one we received is so much lighter in weight than the original stick toy. Very flimsy. Our dog will have nothing to do with the newer toy. So very sad.
