Hard to aim

The toy works as intended. I was worried the tennis balls wouldn’t come out when thrown or would fall out. But they fit snuggly and release when thrown. The main problem we had with the toy is that it’s hard to aim. It’s hard to tell where to stop the swing to get the ball to go forward. As a result, I accidentally threw one of the balls directly at my dog and now he’s afraid of the toy. Not ideal.

Chuck-It ball is my dogs' favorite game to play outside. I have an Aussie and a Miniature American Shepherd and both of them love to get in a game of Chuck-It ball whenever they can! I love that this came with multiple balls since my Aussie loves to take the ball and run around with it, whereas my mini prefers to bring it back to me. Both prefer the rubber balls over the tennis ball type. The launcher works great for me since I have had a rotator cuff injury in the past.

I actually have been using the Chuckit inside the home with our Boston Terrier Louie because it is way too cold for it outside. When I say he can play with this 24/7 that is NO exaggeration. Love the sturdy handle and not having to bend down to pick up the ball everytime...yet other times he will put the Chuckit ball right in my lap. The Chuckit balls are super durable and vurtually indestructible. Please enjoy the picture and video attachments as I take great pride in trying to showcase how fun this product is.

She likes when, due to my poor technique, the ball bounces off the tree, a chair, the fence, the ground. We got one really good photo in action, but the in the still photo, Mariposa is staring at the Chuckit! above my head. We learned that you can press the thrower onto the ball to avoid ball slime.

You just can’t get that kind of distance throwing a ball with your little old hand. You gotta Chuckit! Also, love the extra balls included in this set.
