Every dog plays differently and, since not all toys are created equal, it’s always best to keep a close watch on your pup in case things get ruff. Supervised play will help toys last longer and most importantly keep your pal safe. No dog toy is truly indestructible, so always remove the toy from playtime if pieces begin to break off.

I love Chuckit dog toys but this one does not withstand the task. We have a 7 month old standard poodle. She is a chewer but not aggressive. We did not allow her to keep and chew on the toy after playing fetch. We played fetch with her for 2 days and the fabric in the outside became loose and lost its stitching. I had to throw it away. I will not purchase that particular toy again.
My German Shepherd destroys all of his toys...except this one. Not sure if he realizes it's like a ball but he can play with it in the house or what. Also the toy is very durable but lightweight. So we do safely throw it in the house. Sometimes it bounces around but it's not heavy enough to knock stuff over or break things. It's an amazing toy!
Lyle loves throwing this around the house. It is soft enough to not damage anything yet sturdy.
My dog was able to tear into it. The strings were not safe from him
Was super fun for our border collie, until it ripped only a couple of weeks later and styrofoam broke off everywhere.
Unfortunately, I cannot recommend this toy for aggressive chewers, or even persistent chewers. It seems to be some kind of styrofoam in the middle? Not great. Maisy got through the fabric and into the middle of it in no time. Definitely meant for fetch only.
My 30 pound mutt loves this toy! He is notorious for destroying kongs, westpaw toys, puzzles, stuffed animals, chewing through rope toys, you name it. But he hasn’t destroyed this one yet. He’s chewed the tag off but I think he likes how it feels to bite down and it bounces back. Great toy, great fun, easy to play tug of war, soft on his mouth, we are very happy :)
My dog knows this toy as his "triangle", and he loves it when we tell him to go get his triangle. My dog is a high energy Aussie who lives to fetch, but in AZ when it is 115 degrees outside, this is a great indoor toy for him that does not cause damage in the house. We have even hit it off of the TV and no damage.
Unfortunately, our 6 month old Aussiedoodle had this torn apart at the seams in less than two minutes. Maybe we received a faulty one, because we usually have a lot of luck with Chuckit! products.
It doesn’t scratch the walls Great to play indoors We play ball with it
