This stick is made from durable rubber. It's designed to be tough and resistant to chewing, but not completely chew-proof—it's primarily a fetch toy, not a chew toy. No toy is indestructible. Supervise your pet when using, since small parts can present a choking hazard or internal blockage. Discontinue use if the toy is damaged.

We have a pitbull and a cattledog/pit mix that love to chase frisbees, balls you name it. The problem is they destroy them in the first day. Frisbees and balls get cracked or chewed apart instantly. I’m pleasantly surprised by this toy! It has held up great for two weeks so far (a record for us) with no signs of wear, barely any teeth marks. It’s flexible so it doesn’t snap and has enough give so it isn’t easy to tear pieces off of. The flexibility has an added bonus that both of my dogs can play with it at the same time and play tug a war. If these two 60lb block heads can’t destroy it so far, that’s a quality product to me!

Well, with the weather being so sporadic. Cold one day and then rain the next haven't had a whole lot of chance to play other than one day. But so far the toys have held up very well. They have suffered no damage. Comparing how my dogs usually destroy just about anything they play with. The only reason why I gave it a 4 star instead of a 5 is that it needs to be a little bit bigger round. It might be fine for a small dog. Or medium dog. I wouldn't recommend this for anything bigger than a border collie. My dogs when they're running back from catching it. Have a sentence to chomp on them. And because they are so small that my German Shepherd keeps dropping it out of her mouth. I also got them one of the monster canine sticks that they sell here. They are very heavy the right size. The I just the wouldn't want to be throwing it up in the air and have it. Come down. Hit the dog on the head, might knock her out. Have not really had a chance to take those outside yet to give a review.

Another great option for tug!

We don't buy ropes for our girls to play with. She plays tougs with some doughnut shaped toys but she cheats and ends up grazing our knuckles. This length and softer

No worry about chipping or breaking teeth. We put it away after in case she manages to rip and eat parts of it.

Durable

I always look for that orange & blue because I know this toy will last longer than others. Still in tact & durable. Less play time than I expected from my dogs but

Less play time than I expected from my dogs but they got 2 other types of toys that squeak and this doesn't squeak. I know they will chew on this. It is smaller than I envisioned but a good size.

This however is a fantastic SUPERVISED toy. Both my dogs learned to fetch and chase each other around with this. At $5, this is a steal and will last forever. Like children, moderation, treat rewards and a selection of play toys is best. I take away toys and place out of reach when supervised play is over. The other Chuckit! Ultra Bumper Tug Dog Toy is a hit with the dogs, but this fetch stick is their new favorite. Two rescues with no play experience (Australian Shepard mix & a Whippet mix) have grown to love being outside and playing with these toys together.

It held up, but.

My dog is an excessive chewer and usually loves her Chuck It balls. I thought this would be great for her and it was, she played with it continually for two days and then discovered she could chew it and had it destroyed within several hours. Wish it had lasted longer.

My dog loves this toy. She is a serial toy destroyer, sometimes with only taking 20 minutes to render a toy unusable. She has had this for months and chews on it
