Half Way Good
By TwinBoys on Feb 5, 2022
So we are first time pup owners but grew up with pups as kids. I wanted to get a Chuckit for our new pup. I hate slimy ball retrieval, gross eww, and my parents had one with our dog growing up. The ball is the perfect size for her and she loves them plus they are sturdier than a regular tennis ball. However the Chuckit launcher snapped at the neck the first time we tried to pick up a ball with it. My daughter was bummed out. So maybe it was just a defective one? I remember them being so much tougher. Planning on giving it another go.

Great launcher
By Loghome1 on Jan 28, 2022
My border collie absolutely loves this because I can throw it so much farther. It takes a little practice and this launcher is a little heavier so I imagine the lighter weight one is a little more flexible it just takes some getting used to

Chuck it balls
By Lori on Feb 11, 2022
My dog and I both love this toy. You have to have a big yard or area for your dog to run. It doesn’t take much effort to throw the ball 50 yards.

Took awhile to figure it out
By Oliver62 on Jan 5, 2022
I must be really dumb, because it took me some time to figure out how to use this and not throw the ball straight down at the ground. Now I throw it so far that it goes over the fence sometimes. Dog loves it though!

Fun for my dog
By Gina on Dec 12, 2021
Good bundle at a good price. But instead of a tennis ball, which my veterinary dentist says is a no no for dogs to chew on because they become full of bacteria, I wish it came with the rubber replacement balls that come two to a package from Chewy. These can be washed.

Ultimate arm saver!
By CorgiApproved on Nov 11, 2021
I highly recommend the medium Chuckit! ball launcher however the balls don't last. My Corgi loves to chase balls. The farther I can throw them the more exercise she gets. However, I recommend getting the medium Chew King rubber balls. They fit the launcher and have lasted without being destroyed. An added benefit is your hand stay clean and you don't have to bend over to pick up balls.

We are Loving It
By Gravy on Dec 23, 2021
I bought this Chuckit because I was going to have surgery on my throwing arm. It has been great using it with my opposite arm. I know I will continue to use it once I have recovered from my surgery.

the rubber balls are great if your dog destroys regular tennis balls.

My shepherd likes it
By GSDmom on Aug 29, 2021
To be honest, my german shepherd loves all forms of fetch and with all types and shapes of balls or toys. He will fetch anything thrown. The launcher, however, is an awesome and relatively inexpensive way for me to save my aging back, ha ha. I no longer have to bend over all the way to pick up balls. It also keeps me from having to touch a slimy, dirty ball that also might have gotten some poop on it as even if you pick up all poop beforehand, there is no way to get every single particle off the ground. I don't know why I didn't get this sooner! The reason I took off a star is that I'm pretty short at only 5'3" and this launcher would be better if it were just a little longer. If I am thinking that at 5'3", that means that people taller than me, up to 6'3" or whatever will still be bending over quite a bit to pick up balls with it. Also, I can't control where the ball goes easily. My dog would definitely prefer that I throw them by hand as when I use the launcher, the balls end up hitting trees, falling into bushes, etc. They are great to not have to bend, but not so great at getting the ball where you want it to go. … more
