How do you remove this when you are done with it? Will it take the paint off your windowsill?

The Sill Protectors stay in place with clear double sided tabs that easily remove from painted or non-painted surfaces.

This window sill protector is not designed to be cut into a customized fit. It is made of strong, recyclable plastic to prevent the window from being scratched.

Could this be used on a door frame to protect from cat scratches? And would it remove the paint after removal?

The Window Sill Protectors can be used to protect a door frame. Make sure you measure the space to determine which size you need. The window sill protectors are held in place by Clawguard double-sided mounting tape tabs. We advise testing the mounting tape tabs in a conspicuous place prior to applying more broadly.

Very confusing instructions

The instruction sheet said the frame can be cut but the website says it cannot. The instructions said to remove the blue protective liner from both side of the items-

Life Saver

Wanted to protect my wood window sills and this does it! My 75 lb. girl jumps up to the window when someone pulls up and she has sharp nails! This does the trick

Wanted to protect my wood window sills and this does it! My 75 lb. girl jumps up to the window when someone pulls up and she has sharp nails! This does the trick perfectly. They blend in account they are clear. Wonderful! I ordered 2 and, after trying them out, ordered 2 more! I wish they came in a smaller size and I'd do the 3 other windows in this room!
